Roblox Rivals Weapons
The full Roblox Rivals arsenal — all 53 weapons, from free starter guns to top-shelf Contraband. Rivals publishes no damage or fire-rate numbers, so guns are gated only by rarity and Key cost. We merge that with a community-consensus meta tier and role for 46 of them so you can see not just what a weapon costs, but whether it is actually worth running. The remaining 7 are shown honestly as unranked.
- Standard — the cheapest tier and where the free default loadout lives (the Assault Rifle is a free Standard primary).
- Prime — mid-priced Key purchases that round out most builds.
- Contraband — the top of the cost ladder (e.g. Permafrost, the Armature Knife); strongest and most expensive.
All 53 weapons
| Weapon | Rarity | Meta tier | Role | Unlock | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Distortion | mythic | B | close | Keys | 700 Keys | Contraband primary rated niche and map-dependent; usable but not a defining pick in the current meta. (reported) |
| Permafrost | mythic | S | mid | Keys | 600 Keys | 2-round burst Contraband SMG whose slow/freeze effect locks enemies down for guaranteed follow-ups; named the single best primary by multiple creators despite being hard to obtain. (verified) |
| Energy Rifle | rare | A | mid | Keys or Robux bundle | 425 Keys / 1299 Robux (Energy Bundle) | Unique energy-based primary that moved up after a Season 3 damage buff (15 to 20); a fresh meta-relevant option per recent patch notes. (reported) |
| Flamethrower | rare | C | close | Keys or Robux bundle | 400 Keys / 1899 Robux (Heavy Duty Bundle) | Continuous close-range DoT that crushes corridors on tight maps, but its very short reach makes it situational and easily kited; sources split A to C. (reported) |
| Grenade Launcher | rare | C | explosive | Keys or Robux bundle | 425 Keys / 1899 Robux (Heavy Duty Bundle) | Splash primary needing high skill to arc shots; outclassed by other AoE options for most players. (reported) |
| Minigun | rare | B | mid | Keys or Robux bundle | 450 Keys / 1899 Robux (Heavy Duty Bundle) | Sustained-fire Prime primary that shreds groups and holds angles on open maps, but the spin-up time and heavy move-speed penalty make it situational. (reported) |
| Paintball Gun | rare | S | mid | Keys or Robux bundle | 475 Keys / 1149 Robux (Classic Bundle) | Prime primary with the fastest practical fire rate; melts enemies at close-mid range and rewards good tracking aim, a top aggressive pick. (verified) |
| Assault Rifle | common | S | mid | Free default | Free default | Free default primary repeatedly called the best all-rounder: low recoil, fast TTK and consistent damage at every range, viable from beginner to top ranked play. (verified) |
| Bow | common | B | long | Keys | 15 Keys | High skill-ceiling charge-based primary that rewards precise leading; changed to a projectile in Update 20, making it more consistent but lower-peak. (reported) |
| Burst Rifle | common | A | mid | Keys | 25 Keys | Cheap (25 Keys) burst primary excelling at hit-and-run; a budget side-grade to the AR, though a March 2026 nerf cut its body damage. (verified) |
| Crossbow | common | A | long | Keys | 35 Keys | Mobile sniper alternative with no damage dropoff and a move-speed bonus; a niche stealth/ranged pick for ranked, rated A by one source and B by another. (reported) |
| Gunblade | common | B | close | Keys | 45 Keys | Hybrid melee-ranged weapon; versatile in skilled hands but its Season 3 nerf redistributed power, and sources disagree widely (S to B). (reported) |
| RPG | common | B | explosive | Keys or Robux bundle | 25 Keys / 124 Robux (RPG Bundle) | Cheap area-denial explosive for flushing cover and movement tech (rocket-jumping); a support pick whose move-speed penalty and self-damage cap its dueling value. (reported) |
| Shotgun | common | A | close | Keys | 20 Keys | One-shot potential up close that dominates tight indoor maps, but effectiveness drops off sharply past mid-range so it is heavily map-dependent. (verified) |
| Sniper | common | S | sniper | Keys | 75 Keys | Highest single-shot damage with one-shot headshot potential; dominates open maps and long sightlines, though the heavy move-speed penalty leaves it weak up close. (verified) |
| Scepter | mythic | C | mid | Mode-exclusive | RIVALS RNG only | Low overall impact, described as outshined by alternatives in the current meta. (reported) |
| Warper | mythic | — | No consensus yet | Keys | 650 Keys | Contraband secondary that creates portals for repositioning and tricky angles. |
| Energy Pistols | rare | A | mid | Keys or Robux bundle | 400 Keys / 1299 Robux (Energy Bundle) | Fastest-cooldown secondary with effectively infinite ammo; excellent sustained tracking damage for finishing low-health targets despite a Season 3 equip-speed nerf. (reported) |
| Exogun | rare | A | close | Keys or Robux bundle | 350 Keys / 649 Robux (Exogun Bundle) | AOE-blast secondary that clears corners and can out-damage some primaries at range; strong on clustered maps, though one source rates it inconsistent. (reported) |
| Slingshot | rare | — | No consensus yet | Keys or Robux bundle | 300 Keys / 1149 Robux (Classic Bundle) | Prime projectile secondary that favors fast shots and mobility. |
| Daggers | common | C | close | Keys | 30 Keys | Fast-attacking melee for aggressive rushers; a situational pick rated mid by the community. (reported) |
| Flare Gun | common | C | mid | Keys | 10 Keys | Average/niche secondary that works in specific moments but falls off against skilled opponents. (reported) |
| Handgun | common | C | mid | Free default | Free default | Free default secondary; a decent backup for beginners but outclassed by the Uzi and Revolver. (reported) |
| Revolver | common | A | mid | Keys | 25 Keys | High burst-damage secondary with a fan-fire option that punishes missed pushes; rewards strong aim but unforgiving on misses versus the safer Uzi. (verified) |
| Shorty | common | C | close | Keys or Robux bundle | 20 Keys / 49 Robux (Starter Bundle) | Niche close-range secondary; usable but outclassed by the Uzi and other secondaries. (reported) |
| Spray | common | — | No consensus yet | Keys | 5 Keys | Standard automatic secondary for short-range backup pressure. |
| Uzi | common | A | close | Keys | 20 Keys | Best secondary in the game; fast-firing pocket-AR that pairs with any primary to cover close-range gaps and reload windows, also the recommended first purchase. (verified) |
| Glass Cannon | mythic | — | No consensus yet | Mode-exclusive | RIVALS RNG and Gun Game only | Mode-exclusive high-risk secondary for RIVALS RNG and Gun Game. |
| Maul | rare | C | close | Keys | 550 Keys | Highest single-hit melee damage, but the extremely slow swing makes it nearly impossible to land hits in competitive play. (reported) |
| Spear | rare | B | close | Season Pass or keys | Key cost not listed; free from Season Pass source | New Season 3 melee with a ranged throw and knockback; a versatile ranged-melee hybrid still settling into the meta. (reported) |
| Trowel | rare | C | close | Keys or Robux bundle | 200 Keys / 1149 Robux (Classic Bundle) | Movement-tech melee with limited combat value; outclassed by real combat options outside of niche movement use. (reported) |

| Chainsaw | common | C | close | Keys | 15 Keys | Highest-DPS melee with a built-in speed boost for rushes, but called slow and predictable, landing it in the lower situational tier. (reported) |
| Fists | common | C | close | Free default | Free default | Free default melee buffed to 35 damage with a double jump; viable in skilled hands per one source but a last-resort option per others. (reported) |
| Katana | common | S | close | Keys | 45 Keys | Unique bullet-deflect ability turns gunfire back on the shooter; a high-skill defensive melee that creates counter-attack openings and anchors gun-melee hybrid play. (verified) |
| Knife | common | B | close | Keys | 20 Keys | Fast, mobile melee with strong raw TTK and great value, but lacks the deflect/dash abilities of Katana and Scythe so it is outclassed in competitive play. (verified) |
| Riot Shield | common | B | close | Keys | 45 Keys | Strong frontal defense against projectile-heavy teams, but highly situational since explosives, melee and flanks bypass it. (reported) |
| Scythe | common | S | close | Keys | 40 Keys | Best mobility melee; its forward dash (4s cooldown) reliably closes gaps and repositions mid-fight, the cornerstone of aggressive rush loadouts. (verified) |
| Glast Shard | mythic | — | No consensus yet | Mode-exclusive | RIVALS RNG and Gun Game only | Mode-exclusive knife-like melee for RIVALS RNG and Gun Game. |
| Grappler | mythic | B | close | Robux bundle | Key cost not listed; 599 Robux Prime Bundle; 999 Robux Contraband Bundle | New Season 3 mobility utility for pulling to surfaces or yanking enemies; a strong tactical movement option per the latest patch. (reported) |
