New weapon — Spear
NewThe longest, burstiest melee: a 3-hit poke combo plus a thrown Spear that pierces enemies and pins to walls. Pinned Spears can fling you up and over walls. Arrived in the Season 3 Season Pass.
New weapon — Grappler
NewA mobility utility that pulls you to exactly where you aim — or yanks enemy players toward you. Also arrived in the Season 3 Season Pass.
Summer Update — Pearls event
EventFirst-ever RIVALS Summer Event: new Pearls currency from Event-page tasks, a free x5 Daily Pearls Rush until you earn 250 Pearls, a Summer Skin Case (a skin for every weapon), a Tropical Chest, and a limited summer lobby.
2nd Birthday Celebration
EventRivals turned two on June 28, 2026 (released June 28, 2024). A Birthday Room hides secret shop offers and free rewards, plus a 2-week challenge for free cosmetics including the 2nd Birthday Cake skin.

Summer Update & 2nd Anniversary
Pearls currency and Daily Pearls Rush, the Summer Skin Case, Tropical Chest and a limited summer lobby, alongside the 2nd Birthday Room and a 2-week birthday challenge.
Season 3 — "The Fame Season"
The fame/movie-themed ranked season is live. It introduced the Spear and Grappler, a new Season Pass, and stricter Ranked entry (Level 100 + account verification). Prior-season Glory and charms were paid out from final ELO and total wins.
Update 20 — "Collapse"

Matchmaking & party fixes
Faster queue times, better server regions and fewer cancelled duels. Late-joining party members no longer disband the party; the 12s duel countdown is skipped once everyone connects.
Projectile rework
Slingshot, Grenade Launcher and RPG moved to a Raycast Projectile system for math-based, cheater-proof hit registration. Quick Attacks are now client-sided for responsiveness regardless of connection.
Ranked & Sandbox changes
Enemy ranks are now hidden until a duel ends to prevent early mental forfeits. The Sandbox was revamped into an official map with contracts.
HUD customization & arcade tuning
Movable Hotbar, Keybinds and Health UI, weapon-ammo toggles, and an option to disable non-scoped aiming animation. Arcade servers rebalanced ammo drops on some weapons; health drops now clear burn.
Season 2 — "The Polar Season"
The festive winter ranked season that preceded Season 3.
